It is time to begin planning your entry for the Tenth Annual Youth Art Show to be held April 30th – May 22nd, 2010, at the Southwest Regional Library in Pembroke Pines.
Pembroke Pines Art Guild, Inc. sponsors this event as a way to demonstrate its commitment to nurturing the creativity of young artist.
Cash prizes are awarded in four grade categories, K – 2, 3 -5, 6 -8 and 9 -12. There is no charge to enter this competition.
Mark your calendars and please plan to participate!
Artwork submitted, Friday, April 30th, 2010 from 2 30 to 4 30 p.m.
Saturday, May 1st, 2010 from 10 30 to noon.
Award Ceremony, Saturday, May 22nd, 2010 from 2 00 to 5 00 p.m.
Artwork pickup, Saturday, May 22nd, 2010 from 2 00 to 5 00 p.m.
Works in oil, acrylic, watercolor, tempera, pastel, charcoal, photography, pencil or ink will be accepted. All entries must be framed, wired for hanging, no saw tooth allowed (we will not be able to supply any material necessary for hanging) and measure no more than 42 inches in any direction, including the frame. All work other than oil or acrylic must be covered with Plexiglas, no glass is permitted.
